FCT, ABUJA 

The Federal Capital Territory, Abuja is the nation’s capital city. While it is not a State but a City, it comfortably takes its place as the first on this list of most beautiful States in Nigeria because of its importance in our nation as the seat of power. Abuja is a very beautiful place with impressively built infrastructure that leaves you in awe. The beauty of Abuja is totally down to the fact that the city has a masterplan and this building plan has been consistently followed since the 1980s to date.

The city of Abuja has beautifully designed parks which makes the whole place a tourists dream. The most popular of these parks is the Millennium Park officially opened by Queen Elizabeth II on December 4, 2003. Other parks and the majority of government administrative buildings, as well as the good road networks, great lighting systems and a number of high profile hotels also makes the city a heaven on earth.

LAGOS STATE

Lagos State is the richest state in Nigeria and this is a testament to it being the economic nerve centre of the country.
